Jeff Haukom has been a member of the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Commissioners since 2018.

Sonya Kayser has been a member of the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Commissioners since 2016 and is currently serving as Chair of the Board..

"My family and I have lived in Marshall for the last 18 years and are proud to call Marshall our home. Marshall has been a great place to live, work and raise a family. Serving on the Utility Commission will give me an opportunity to serve and give back to a community that has been good to us. I am passionate about our community and I want to continue to see it grow and prosper."

Sonya KayserSonya is employed at Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center as a Human Resources Officer.

Cindy Verschaetse has been a member of the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Commissioners since 2015, and is currently serving as Vice-Chair of the Board.

Kristina Carrow has been a member of the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Commissioners since 2019.

Kristina CarrowKristina is employed at Great America Financial. Kristina graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University with a BA degree in History. Kristina has been active in multiple local organizations in Marshall.

Brandon Antoine has been a member of the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Commissioners since 2024.

Commissioners

Marshall Municipal Utilities is governed by a five member utility commission. Commission members are appointed by the Mayor, and such appointments confirmed by the Marshall City Council. Each commissioner may serve up to two consecutive five year terms.

MMU Commission meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month beginning at 4:30 p.m. and are open to the public.
