Marshall Municipal Utilities (MMU) will receive sealed bids at the office of Marshall Municipal Utilities, located at 113 South 4th Street, Marshall, MN, for items placed on MMU's Excess Overstock and Surplus Equipment List and offered to the public for sale. A current list available surplus equipment can be downloaded here:MMU Surplus Equipment
All sealed bids received for two weeks after the posting of the overstock items shall be held and opened at the conclusion of the two week period. Sealed bids for items not sold after the 2 week period shall be received on an ongoing basis from bidders and will be opened as received.
Bids shall be prepared on MMU's bid form, which can be downloaded as a PDF file here:MMU Surplus Equipment Bid form. A bid form can also be obtained by calling MMU's Purchasing & Property Coordinator, Scott Mellenthin at (507) 537-7005.
All bids should be submitted in a securely sealed envelope and clearly marked on the outside indicating the item(s) for which the bid is made. Bids should be submitted via US Mail or hand delivered to:

In submitting a bid, it is understood that the right is reserved by MMU to reject any and all bids.
All item(s) will be sold as is, where is, with no warranties or guarantees given or implied. All sales are final. The purchaser will be responsible for removing all item(s) from the site at the time of payment. Payment is due within 30 days after acceptance of bid. Items can be picked up Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am and 2:30 pm.
Payment may be made via cash or cashier's check. Arrangements can be made for invoicing by contacting MMU's Finance Manager at (507) 537-7005.
